Welcome to our 2026 Yearly Sewing Notion Destash Event!
We are thrilled to gather our small group of makers for this highly anticipated day of discovery and sustainable crafting. Whether you are searching for rare vintage trims, unique fabric, essential tools to round out your kit, or the perfect spool of thread for your next project, today is about finding new homes for beautiful supplies and sparking fresh inspiration.
The goal of this group is to help each other destash our unused notions and allow others to 'shop' what we no longer want. Its all about reducing clutter and reducing what goes into the landfill. If you have any notions, fabrics, or sewing tools that you would like to offer during the event, let me know ahead of time and we can spotlight each participating member. A schedule of participants will be added as we get closer to the event.

Group Rules
Respect one another
This is a volunteer group event. All members who participate in the event, viewers, and Destashers are members of Sew 4 Life. Please be kind and courteous at all times. Try not to talk over each other or claim every item, let's give everyone a chance to participate.
Volunteer Destashers
If you would like to volunteer to be a destaster for this event, please let me know before the event starts. All members who volunteered to be a Destasher will be allowed a time slot to show case thier items during the event. You will be responsible for packing up and shipping the items that are claimed.
Buyers
All members who claim an item are responsible for sending their information privately to the Destasher. You will be responsible to pay for shipping before the item is shipped out. We are not responsible for bad transactions or lost items.
How it Works
All Destashers will take a turn to showcase the items they are planning to bring to the event. If you have volunteered to be a Destasher, then you will have a time to showcase the items you would like to bring. During the event, members will state thier name and the item they are interested as the Destasher is finished showing an item. Lets try not to talk over each other or be rude. Please allow everyone a turn to claim items and allow the Destashers to fully show the item before you make a claim. Members who cannot play nicely will be asked to leave the event. When the event is over, if you have claimed any items, please private message the individual Destasher who had the item you were interested in, share your shipping address with them so they can find a shipping cost for you.
Shipping
There are no rules for a shipping method that the Destasher may use. I do recommend using USPS, the Priority Flat Rate "If it fits, it ships" boxes. They are free and come in multiple sizes with various prices, they can be picked up at your local postal office or mailed directly to you through the online website. I also recommend that you receive a payment before you ship an item to prevent any issues and to provide a tracking number, they are free with when you use a Priority Flat Rate Boxes. . We cannot be responsible for any lost packages or payment issues.
Be respectful of others’ privacy
Participating in this event depends on our trust of one another. Private information may be sensitive or contain sensitive information, so please do not share members shipping information or any other personal information.
