This is a supportive, fun-loving community designed to turn a solitary hobby into a social gathering. Our hobbies make us happy but sometimes it can be isolating if you have no one to share your intrests with. This groups purpose is to connect virtually and help make it a little less lonely. Consider it a small sewing guild with no pressure or judgements.
Join our monthly stitch-a-longs, share a project, lead a project, or just chat with fellow sewing enthusiasts. All projects will be beginner friendly or just for fun. Requests and ideas are always welcome. If you would like to lead a group stich- a-long let me know and we can set one up!

Being in this group depends on our trust of one another. Some discussions may be sensitive or contain sensitive information, so what’s said in the group should stay in the group.

When sharing others people’s posts, images and other content, do not infringe on their copyright or claim other people’s materials as your own.

Bullying, targeting, or attacking a member of this group is not allowed and will not be tolerated.

No selling to or spamming other members is allowed in this group. Anyone who does so will be subject to immediate removal.
Topics
You are free to talk about whatever you like in the group. If we are on video during a group project, its best to keep the conversation geared towards the project at hand or sewing in general. If no group project is being worked on and something else comes up, it is OK to continue as long as the conversation doesnt offend or disrespect others. We are all adults in the group, do not push your opinions or views onto others. If you feel offended by a conversation its best to mute ourselves or walk away until we are calm enough to come back. You can absolutely talk about your life, jobs, politics, religion, careers, past or current events, hobbies, experiences ect.. Just play nicely. I am not a referee and hope that we can act like civil adult's and talk our problems out before they get out of hand. If someone goes too far or insults another member, they will be asked to leave the zoom.
