Who we are

Our Story...

A Singer Model 66 sewing machine, The Red Eye

Sew 4 Life is a small family owned business. We are well rounded in all things crafts and sewing. My husband, Tony, and I run a sewing machine repair shop out of our home. We repair, restore and resell vintage & used modern sewing machines. We have four amazing young children, ages ranging from 12 years old to 2 yearss old. They are our reason for everything, and often like to help with everything. As our main restorer, I have a background in Sewing, fashion and Sewing machine repair. Growing up with a grandmother who worked in leather factories as a shoemaker, taught me the love for sewing. Then mixed with a dad who enjoyed woodworking and fixing things. It just came easy and the love for all things vintage began.  They just don't make them like they used too. Vintage machines were made to last a lifetime but have often been stored for long periods of time or forgotten altogether. There are many around just waiting to be brought back to life. Vintage restorations are our specialty, and our goal is to save as many as we can. Follow our hashtag #savethemachines on Facebook and see some of the machines we have had the privilege of restoring. Browse through our gallery and experience shopping with Sew 4 Life for yourself. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions, comments or suggestions or to book an appointment.
