Welcome to our website and thank you for subscribing! I'm delighted to have you here. I run a dedicated small family business right from my home, and I'm proud to say it's woman and veteran-owned.
My passion lies in the meticulous restoration and revitalization of vintage sewing machines, bringing these historical pieces of machinery back to life. Beyond the restoration work, I truly love sharing my knowledge of these incredible machines.
When I step away from the workshop, my life is joyfully enriched by spending time with my four children. Thank you for visiting and learning more about my craft.

Welcome to Sew 4 Life's Restoration group. This is a place to find answers, join others and learn the tips and tricks of the SMR trade. This group should be used to find help the answers for many machine related topics. Pick from a variety of resources to work through and learn about or join different workshops or schedule one on one sessions and come repair, restore and refurbish these beauties together.
Here I have put together guides, planned workshops and resources to help you bring your new to you new vintage machine or a beloved family heirloom back to life and keep them in good running order.

Being in this group depends on our trust of one another. Some discussions may be sensitive or contain sensitive information, so what’s said in the group should stay in the group.

When sharing others people’s posts, images and other content, do not infringe on their copyright or claim other people’s materials as your own.
No harassment of any kind
Bullying, targeting, or attacking a member of this group is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
No sales or spam allowed. Buisness proposals may be permitted with permission
No selling to or spamming other members is allowed in this group. Anyone who does so will be subject to immediate removal. We do not tolerate any sales or premotion of any kind. If you are a buisness owner and think you may be able to contribute to the group then please send a request of your buisness proposal to me (Erin Gannon). I know how important networking can be in this buisness.
Hot Topics
You are free to talk about whatever you like in the group. If we are on video and no group project is being worked on and something else comes up, it is OK to continue as long as the conversation doesnt offend or disrespect others. We are all adults in the group, do not push your opinions or views onto others. If you feel offended by a conversation its best to mute ourselves or walk away until we are calm enough to come back. You can absolutely talk about your life, jobs, politics, religion, careers, past or current events, hobbies, experiences ect.. Just play nicely. I am not a referee and hope that we can act like civil adult's and talk our problems out before they get out of hand. If someone goes too far or insults another member, they will be asked to leave the zoom.
No Lurking
Lurking in the zoom hangouts is not allowed, it makes members uncomfortable. Your profile needs to have a name. These events are meant to be a social hangout and we would perfer if all members that logged in either inreracts with the group at some point, its ok to have your video off but we would appreciate and welcome you to greet others when you log on. We understand some members may sign in the hangout for company while they work or clean and that is ok, just let us know in the zoom chat that you are busy or say hi.
